Resource or Project Abstract
This dataset contains results from a measurement program performed on boilers installed in residential properties in the field. As the DLPI PM measuring equipment was not portable it was not possible to perform PM measurements at these locations. However, NOx and other gaseous pollutants were measured, as well as boiler efficiency. 31 tests were performed (23 oil-fired boiler, 6 gas-fired boilers and 2 wood pellet boilers) and the results from each are available in this data set.

| This project examined PM and NOx emissions from wood pellet, oil-fired and gas-fired domestic heating boilers, as well as non road transport. This data set contains results performed on the wood pellet boiler in a laboratory setting to determine PM and NOx emission factors as a function of boiler operating mode. Other performance factors such as efficiency, fuel consumption and operating temperatures are also available. |
