Resource or Project Abstract

This study used historical and newly generated datasets to investigate the suitability of the Ire-UK MBTT (Marine Benthic Task Team) tools to determine Ecological Status of the benthic community. This tool takes into account the abundance, diversity and the presence of disturbance sensitive and indicator taxa in the benthic community and that bases assigns an Ecological status..
