Resource or Project Abstract
The dataset comprises borehole monitoring data for observation wells at the Tydavnet Group Water Scheme in County Monaghan. The data include "continuous" records obtained from data loggers installed in 4 monitoring boreholes during the period 2004 to 2006

Limitations on the use of this Resource | Some of the water level data were collected by the operators of the Tydavnet Group water Scheme, who should be acknowledged. The data loggers for boreholes 4, 7, 11 and 14 were installed and downloaded by Dr Les Brown (then of TCD)

The need for the dataset arose during the Recharge and Vulnerability project, in order to supplement existing data. The EPA has commissioned a number of research projects under the Environmental Research,
Technological Development and Innovation (ERTDI) programme (listed below) which contributed to the assessment of pressures and impacts and the implementation of the Water Framework Directive. |
